Street art abounds in Bogota. My neighbourhood was no exception. This was something I'd noted on my first visit to Bogota two years ago. The art is described as 80% graffiti, 20% art by one of its noted practitioners, and usually has a social commentary component. It's a major vehicle for young, socially conscious artists in Bogota, and other large cities in Colombia, to express themselves and is a reflection of the fluid state of Colombian society and politics these days.
